80 HOUR WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER COURSE

PPAS is hosting an 80 Hour Wilderness First Responder in conjunction with Katabatic Consulting out of Divide.

Registration details for WFR course: please note that we have minor differences in this registration diffrent than our polices for climbing/guided excursions.

A 50% deposit (minimum $150) is required to confirm your reservation. We require that your balance be paid 30 days before your course. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course are eligible for reschedule or refund of paid amount minus an admin fee of $150.00.

Cancellations made within 30 days within 30 days of the course or "no shows" are non-refundable and not eligible for a reschedule.

Details for particapants:

• 8 day course.
• 100% participation is required.
• Expect to spend time after classes studying and reading.
• Be prepared to be outside in all weather and dresses appropriately. No flip flops during class.
• Bring at least 1 set of old clothing that can be cut, torn and stained.
• There is a written final exam. Passing grade is 80% or higher.
• The certification is good for 3 years.
• This is not a college course, and there is no college credit for this course.
• Location of course is subject to change.
