REGISTERING We recommend booking early -to ensure the availability of a guide. We are not a large company but we are very busy. We will accommodate late registration when possible. I want to speak with you directly to find the best program for you period. Call or email to arrange a good time to talk. Evenings and early mornings are best, but not after 5 PM MST. Please leave a phone number that I may reach you to discuss options in case I miss your call. We do not offer online registration. For certain climbs such as privates, large groups or WFR courses we require payment in full prior to activity. For all climbs, whether or not you are paying with a CC, it is still required to hold any and all reservations with a CC at the time of registration. If you don't have a CC you can't enroll in any programs unless prior arrangements have been made with Jamie. PAYMENT We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks made payable to Pikes Peak Alpine School. We will also accept money orders and funds transfers, and all checks made out to Pikes Peak Alpine School. Note: On all Credit Card transactions over $500.00 we charge an additional 3.5% surcharge for the use of a CC, no exceptions. FORMS All participants are required to sign a VOLUNTARY RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND MEDICAL QUESTIONAIRE that includes medical information pertinent to the participant. Withholding information endangers your safety should a rescue be needed. All forms must be signed by the participant if over the age of 18 or by a legal parent or legal guardian with no exceptions. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULE AND REFUND POLICY A 50% deposit (minimum $150) is required to confirm your reservation. We require that your balance be paid 30 days before your course or climb begins. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course or climb are eligible for reschedule or refund with no penalty, defined as deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the course or climb are non-refundable, however may be rescheduled with a fee equal to your deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the course or climb and "no shows" are non-refundable, and no reschedule option will be available. WAIT LIST If the date you’ve requested is not available and you are in town on vacation, we will gladly add your name to our wait list or refer you to another guide service. GROUPS Groups are welcome to register for any program we offer. We also custom design programs for your group’s needs; special group rates may apply. We have accommodated groups of many types and sizes. PPAS takes pride and specializes in working with you directly to best meet your needs. We have accommodated groups as large as 300 people and regularly guide groups as small as 10 guests. Please contact us to choose one of our great venues to climb in no matter your group size!
