Intro to Rock Climbing Course, 1-Day
This comprehensive one day course is designed for climbers with little to no prior outdoor climbing experience. We focus on building foundational skills that are elemental to safe climbing practices. You can choose from our public course offerings or schedule this course as a private lesson.
Skills taught but are not limited to:
- Climbing movement & technique
- Belaying for outdoor climbing
- Gear selection
- Rappelling and lowering
- Rope handling
- Crag etiquette
- Basic anchors
Client Expectations:
No prior experience necessary.
Equipment Provided:
Rock shoes, harness, helmet, belay device & locking carabiner. Bring your own gear if you have it!
Pricing includes an (AMGA) American Mountain Guides Association Certified Guide or Instructor. If you climb with another company, ask the guide if they are certified by a third party similar to the AMGA.
